On the farm
The campsite sits in a fruit orchard. No theme park, no animation team, just calm, shade and a view of the Meuse. Plus a simple day-time café for when the picnic basket runs out.
The orchard
Plum trees, old apples, a few walnuts. Blossom in spring, shade in summer, harvest in autumn. The farm takes its name from the history of the land: once worked by the plough, now a quiet stop on the river.
Day-time café
Fries, snacks, cold drinks and coffee. Open in season, weekdays and weekends. Nothing fancy, just something hot after a day on the bike or an evening on the dyke.
The Meuse dyke
Behind the campsite runs the dyke. Ten paces and you look out across the water towards Belgium. Walkers and cyclists pass on the Meuse route. In rare cases of high water the site is evacuated, that's life by a river.
